Hydro HCP – the solution for high-capacity poles
The HCP family stands out for the versatility of its products. While one often thinks of applications such as large traffic signs along highways, HCP products are also suitable for supporting wind turbines or heavy steel art installations. Thanks to the robust base of the HCP, these products are exceptionally strong and can withstand heavy loads and high wind speeds.
The Hydro HCP is available in four variants: HCP108, HCP168, HCP219, and HCP320. These are easy to assemble, both on-site and at Hydro, and are fully circular, contributing to a sustainable environment.
Collision-Safe
In addition to the crash-friendly aluminium lighting columns and traffic signal poles, the Hydro HCP family is also collision-safe. These high-capacity poles reduce the risk of personal injury, even after a high-impact collision. Thus, our products contribute to a safer road environment.
To develop the safest structures for our roads, we have been conducting crash tests on our aluminum pole products since the 1970s. The knowledge gained from these tests has led to a range of safe, secure, and crash-friendly aluminum solutions that reduce the risk of personal injury after a collision.
