Oliver Bell was elected on October 27 by the General Assembly of Eurometaux. He succeeds Javier Targhetta, CEO of Atlantic Copper, who occupied the position since 2007. “Oliver will be a great asset to Eurometaux and a tremendous leader for the ambitious program of the association,” Targhetta said.
“I am looking forward to working with the Eurometaux team and the association’s members to boost the competitiveness of the European non-ferrous metals industry, as well as to increase awareness about the benefits of non-ferrous metals and our solutions to sustainability challenges,” Bell said.
Eurometaux is the voice of the non-ferrous metals industry towards regulators, institutions and other advocacy groups. Through its activities, the association also contributes to positioning the industry and its products as essential, innovative and sustainable components of European society.
